Earth Equity CEO Earns Responsible Investing Designation
Earth Equity Advisors Founder, CEO and Director of Investments Peter Krull recently completed the certification program for the Chartered SRI Counselor™ designation through the College for Financial Planning. The designation focuses on all aspects of sustainable, responsible and impact investing (SRI) including history and foundations, different approaches to the practice, portfolio construction and environmental, social and governance (ESG) research. It also covers the importance of fiduciary duty when investing client assets.
The program was introduced in 2018 by the College for Financial Planning in conjunction with US SIF: The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investing. Mr. Krull is one of the first participants to graduate with the designation.
Mr. Krull has been involved in the responsible investing business for over fifteen years. He founded Krull & Company in 2004 to help his investment management clients align their investments with their values. The firm changed its name in 2017 to Earth Equity Advisors and is a registered investment advisor. Earth Equity Advisors is a Certified B Corporation, and recently was awarded the Best for the World honor for the fourth year in a row.
