Earth Equity Advisors’ investment philosophy starts with a focus on where the economy is going, not where it has been. In a time of global crisis, climate change, and environmental degradation, where can we find solutions to the biggest questions facing humanity? Which companies and sectors are going to bring about the most sustainable solutions?
We believe that offering a truly sustainable investment portfolio takes a lot of research and due diligence. The marketplace is full of investment options advertising “low carbon”, “ESG” and “sustainable.” But the true work begins when you actually look under the hood of each of these investments. Do they own fossil-fuels, or other companies that are “less bad?” Or do they own positive solutions to address humanity’s challenges? Oftentimes, they fall short.
That’s why we handpick each and every fund and stock that goes into our portfolios. We know which companies make up each fund and communicate regularly with fund management if we have concerns about specific holdings.
We do not measure our portfolios against an arbitrary index but to a vision of what is needed for a future of abundance. We truly believe in our mission to empower our clients to magnify their impact through responsible investing.
