Climate Solutions: Taking a Bite out of Food Waste
Earth Equity Advisors is proud to be hosting our sixth annual speaker series on Tuesday, November 5th at The Collider in downtown, Asheville, NC. This year’s event will continue to use climate solutions from the Drawdown Project as a theme.
We’re focusing on Reducing Food Waste, the #3 drawdown solution which could save as much as 70 gigatons of CO2 by 2050.
Some of the topics we’ll touch on are:
- Growing a sustainable food system for all
- The art of kitchen efficiency
- Benefits of food waste reduction
- What we can each do to reverse climate change
The event will feature experts, Katherine Miller, VP of Impact at the James Beard Foundation and Jonathan Bloom, author of American Wasteland. Earth Equity’s Founder & CEO, Peter Krull will be moderating the discussion.
The reception will begin at 5:30 pm and the event will begin promptly at 6:00 and run through 7:00 Space is limited, so make sure to RSVP here.
